Mesothelioma and Cancer- How to Choose an Appropriate Lawyer
Mesothelioma may takes years and years to develop. People who have had asbestos contact working in plants and such usually do not realize they have developed cancer until it is too late. The fiber in the asbestos takes a long time to cause it's damage.
It is advisable to seek professional guidance as soon as you know you have contracted mesothelioma or a related disease. They can assure you are compensated for the damages and injuries you have sustained. What normally happens is that victims will file a personal injury case against the companies or known individuals who were deemed responsible for the exposure.
Usually a settlement is reached before a trial as it is a very expensive and tedious process.
Still, there are options available. An individual can file a claim without an attorney but are usually better off retaining professionals who are well versed in the law. To help matters, personal injury lawyers commonly work on a contingency basis so there are no out of pocket expenses and they are paid only on a successful decision.
Talk with your attorney to see if a trial is the best situation or if he/she feels a settlement would be the best way to go. Remember your own tolerance to stress of a trial is just one factor. Oftentimes a settlement is the same amount awarded at a full trial.

Lay Down The Law
Lyrics:
Load up the drugs we'll let the demons come in
Bring all the kids they won't know where to begin
Shoot 'em a line they'll lock you up in the pen
If you're rating my life give it ten
But it remains to be seen if you've got what it takes to be Queen
Just get your ass through my door and don't ask for the chance
Drama Queen - are you clean?
Get in your head invite me down for a dream
Slip on a tie and take it out on the scene
Tell all your friends to meet the girl that I choose
If they cancel your face cut em loose
But it remains to be seen if you've got what it takes to be Queen
Just get your ass through my door and don't ask for the chance to give more
You turn up you tune in, strike a pose start again
You turn up you tune in, strike a pose start again
You turn up you tune in, strike a pose start again
You turn up you tune in, check your pulse
But it remains to be seen if you've got what it takes to be Queen
Just get your ass through my door and don't ask for the chance to give more

She did not graduate from any university there were no universities as such in her day. But still her utterances are studied in faculties of literature, her legal pronouncements are studied in colleges of law and her life and works are studied and researched by students and teachers of Muslim history as they have been for over a thousand years.
The bulk of her vast treasure of knowledge was obtained while she was still quite young. In her early childhood she was brought up by her father who was greatly liked and respected for he was a man of wide knowledge, gentle manners and an agreeable presence. Moreover he was the closest friend of the noble Prophet who was a frequent visitor to their home since the very early days of his mission.
In her youth, already known for her striking beauty and her formidable memory, she came under the loving care and attention of the Prophet himself. As his wife and close companion she acquired from him knowledge and insight such as no woman has ever acquired.
Of the Prophet's wives in Madinah, it was clear that it was Aisha that he loved most. From time to time, one or the other of his companions would ask:
"O Messenger of God, whom do you love most in the world?" He did not always give the same answer to this question for he felt great love for many for his daughters and their children, for Abu Bakr, for Ali, for Zayd and his son Osama. But of his wives the only one he named in this connection was Aisha. She too loved him greatly in return and often would seek reassurance from him that he loved her. Once she asked him: "How is your love for me?"
"Like the rope's knot," he replied meaning that it was strong and secure. And time after time thereafter, she would ask him: "How is the knot?" and he would reply: "Ala Halima in the same condition."
As she loved the Prophet so was her love a jealous love and she could not bear the thought that the Prophet's attentions should be given to others more than seemed enough to her. She asked him: "O Messenger of God, tell me of yourself. If you were between the two slopes of a valley, one of which had not been grazed whereas the other had been grazed, on which would you pasture your flocks?"
Once, when Aisha complained and asked why he spoke so highly of "an old Quraish woman", the Prophetwas hurt and said: "She was the wife who believed in me when others rejected me. When people gave me the lie, she affirmed my truthfulness. When I stood forsaken, she spent her wealth to lighten the burden of my sorrow."
"If I had remembered, I would have done so," she said. The Prophet's affection for Aisha remained to the last. During his final illness, it was to Aisha's apartment that he went at the suggestion of his wives. For much of the time he lay there on a couch with his head resting on her breast or on her lap. She it was who took a tooth stick from her brother, chewed upon it to soften it and gave it to the Prophet Despite his weakness, he rubbed his teeth with it vigorously. Not long afterwards, he lost consciousness and Aisha thought it was the onset of death, but after an hour he opened his eyes.
isha it is who has preserved for us these dying moments of the most honoured of God's creation, His beloved Messenger may He shower His choicest blessings on him.
When he opened his eyes again, Aisha remembered Iris having said to her: "No Prophet is taken by death until he has been shown his place in Paradise and then offered the choice, to live or die."
"He will not now choose us," she said to herself. Then she heard him murmur: "With the supreme communion in Paradise, with those upon whom God has showered His favour, the Prophets the martyrs and the righteous..." Again she heard him murmur: "O Lord, with the supreme communion," and these were the last words she heard him speak. Gradually his head grew heavier upon her breast, until others in the room began to lament, and Aisha laid his head on a pillow and joined them in lamentation.
After Khadija al-Kubra (the Great) and Fatima as-Zahra (the Resplendent), Aisha as-Siddiqah (the one who affirms the Truth) is regarded as the best woman in Islam. Because of the strength of her personality, she was a leader in every field in knowledge, in society, in politics and in war. She often regretted her involvement in war but lived long enough to regain position as the most respected woman of her time. She died in the year 58 AH in the month of Ramadan and as she instructed, was buried in the Jannat al-Baqi in the City of Light, beside other companions of the Prophet

In 2000, we elected W. Bush a president who put oil company's interests ahead of caring for creation. We elected a "born-again" president who said he lived by biblical ethics who played the dirtiest political games possible, for instance in the filthy lies his people spread to derail Senator John McCain's presidential primary bid. We elected a "pro-life" Republican Party that did nothing to actually care for the pregnant women and babies they said they were concerned for, but rather took their evangelical and other pro-life followers for granted, and played them for suckers. These Republican "pro-lifers" took us to war needlessly, tortured prisoners and have dishonored America.
The so-called evangelical leadership--Dobson, Robertson, Falwell and all the rest also played the pro-life community for suckers. That way the evangelical leaders could represent themselves as power-brokers to the politicians willing to kowtow to them.
Democrats who would like a clean shot at governing this country well for a few years and who want to shape a better American future, regarding health care, gay rights, women's rights, rights for people of color, foreign policy, the environment, energy policy, a better educational system and a more humane welfare state; had better look hard and honestly at what is unfolding on the Republican side this year post Rick Warren's intervention at Saddleback and after the Palin nomination.
John McCain should not only be behind in the polls he should more or less be nonexistent after the horrendous eight years of Bush misrule. The fact that he is even close hinges on two points: first, our latent racism, which no matter what individuals tell pollsters is playing a part in keeping Obama's lead down. Second, the Palin news cycle, in other words the issue of abortion which simply will not go away.
Palin is a joke candidate only on the ticket as a sop to pro-lifers. End of story.
Progressives need to take a fresh look at abortion. Few countries are as extreme as America. Progressives look to places like France as examples of generous maternal leave and so on. France is hardly anti-woman. And yet France limits abortion rights more than we do. So does Sweden. Even in Great Britain, which has almost as a permissive an abortion law as our own, there is growing debate in Parliament about rolling back the legal date after which abortions can no longer be performed from 23 weeks to 20 weeks. And this UK debate is not fueled by right wing preachers, but by medical science, and human rights ethics.
Roe leaves the door open to very late term abortions. Enter Senator Obama and this year's presidential race. Obama voted once in a state legislature to keep those sorts of late term abortions legal. He had his reasons and the Religious Right has been unfair to him over their branding him as favoring infanticide. But there it is: Obama is being saddled with the abortion albatross instead of being allowed to move on. Here we go again!
And all this is needless. If the abortion laws reflected the will of the people abortion would be legal but limited more than now. That is a fact that every poll shows. Indeed more young people are against abortion than their parents. This won't fade.
Do Democrats really perpetually want to lose elections to keep a small minority of Americans--the pro-choice fundamentalists--happy by keeping abortion legal up to the moment of birth? Is there any good reason, other than the life of the mother, for abortion to be legal after the 12th week of pregnancy?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/frank-schaeffer/sarah-palin-its-the-abort_b_123896.html
Note: Obama's current position on abortion is to limit late term abortions only to instances when the mother's life is at risk.

Please vote yes on prop 9 Marsy's law in California this November then the United states to follow. Victim's rights are rights that must be supported before they are needed because when they are needed there is no energy to ask for them. Thank you SO much for contemplating this proposition. California is over ten years behind Arizona in this. We should be a leading state not one so far behind. I am confident we will do what we should this November. We have some of the most compassionate and intelligent people in the nation residing and voting here. Thank you again.
I am singing at The Second National Day of Remembrance for murder victims at the Capital building in Sacramento. Debbie Lowe of the Sacramento chapter of POMC has put on an amazing program and I am so honored to be part of it. I also watched the Republican Convention and it was amazing. During that I talked to my ex fiancee Chris Fonseca and found out he is backing McCain and Palin and I am very proud of him and proud to be his close friend. Being a famous comedian is one thing but having your signature on and writing a large part of the ADA is history. I think he chose the right team. I like Obama. Don't get me wrong. But my personal analogy is Fine China to paper plates. I use paper plates all the time, but when it comes time to choosing what I want to use for the good stuff I want to use my good china. McCain is good china. He has been a round and is time tested. Obama is good for some things. But he just hasn't been around long enough. Just my opinion. I don't debate politics. Also, as most know my sister was murdered in 1992 and I am a big advocate for victim's rights so I am again asking California voters to take a look at prop 9 Marsy's law and please vote yes. If you look into it you will. After a tragedy be it murder, domestic violence, being robbed, attacked, anything, victims need ENFORCEABLE rights. Any law we get into the books is more easily ammended than getting a new one in. Arizona has had one for over ten years. I know I helped push it in. I am embarrased that California doesn't have it. I was shocked and California was always ahead of the pack in everything else. We need to not only catch up, we need to be what we always were and lead the pack in guiding the Country in laws to protect our citizens. Please look into Marsy's law. Lastly... as always, I am singing... the song. Saving all my love for you. A capella. I hope you enjoy :) (I will edit once the video is uploaded)

Having been to that part of the world many times and having developed a clear worldview over many years, John knew where he stood. Within hours, he established a very strong, informed position that let the world know exactly how he'll respond as president. At exactly the right time, John McCain said, 'We're all Georgians.' Obama's first instinct was to create a moral equivalency - that 'both sides' were equally responsible." The same moral equivalency that he has displayed in discussing the Palestinian Authority and the State of Israel. Later, after discussing it with his 300 foreign policy advisors, he changed his position and suggested that the 'the UN Security Council' could find a solution. Apparently, none of his 300 foreign policy security advisors told him that Russia has a veto power on any UN action. Finally Obama put out a statement that looked... well, it looked a lot like John McCain's. I have some advice for Senator Obama, next time just call John McCain. He knows something about foreign policy. New generation Like Ronald Reagan, John McCain will enlarge our party. Open it up to lots of new people. He's the candidate with the real record of bi-partisan cooperation. He's the candidate who can credibly reach out for the votes of Independents and Democrats. In choosing Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, John McCain has chosen the future. Governor Palin represents a new generation. She's already one of the most successful governors in America - and the most popular. And she already has more executive experience than the entire Democratic ticket combined. She's been a mayor; I love that. I'm sorry that Barack Obama feels that her home town isn't cosmopolitan enough. I'm sorry, Barack, that it's not flashy enough. Maybe they cling to religion there. She's led a city and a state. She's reduced taxes and government spending. She's encouraged more energy exploration. We are the party that believes unapologetically in America's success And as a former US Attorney, I am impressed by her success in combating corruption - when she found unethical and illegal behaviour among the power-brokers of her own party, she did not hesitate - she acted courageously and independently. That's the kind of reformer we need - she shook up Alaska. Can you imagine how she'll shake up Washington? How dare they question whether or not Sarah Palin has enough time to spend with her children and be vice-president! When did they ever ask a man that question? And as we look to the future never let us forget that - when we are at our best - we are the party that expands Freedom. We began as a party dedicated to freeing people from slavery. And we are still the party that is willing to fight for freedom here and abroad. We are the party that wants to expand individual freedom and economic freedom because we believe that the secret of America's success is not central government, it is self-government. We are the party that believes in giving workers the right to work. The party that believes parents should choose where their children go to school. And we are the party that believes unapologetically in America's success- that we are a shining city on the hill, a beacon of freedom that inspires the world. So my fellow Republicans and my fellow Americans - over the next eight weeks, remember that the results of this election are in your hands. You get to determine America's future. The nightlife in Dubai is also worth trying especially if you are a night person. Dubai has famous nightlife scenes because of its large choices of the bars and clubs for you to choose from. You could enjoy there, but taking note of course that alcoholic beverages are strictly served only in hotels. Though, there are also a few exceptions. You will be home by three in the morning since Dubai's few laws covers clubs be closed at three am, a person may drink if he or she is at least 21 in years, 25 to enter a nightclub, and the most interesting of all is that people are not allowed by law to refuse entrance to anyone, including non-members of the club.
A beautiful bar to go to is the Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa. Yes, it is a bar and is more of a bar than any other. It is popular for locals, and is very accommodating especially during weekends from 10:30 or 11:00 in the evening onwards. More of an expat crowd, and quite a few Asian girls. The live music and a small area for dancing is also a sight when the night starts to fall.
Another worth noting is the Atlantis right next door to the Hard Rock Café. This is a disco popular especially during midnight to morning. Performing dancing girls and drum masters go wild as the lively music and atmosphere drives the night away. Ladies night on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday are the schedules for the crowd in young and hippy style.
The Carter's is a very stylish restaurant and a bar as well. It is located inside the Pyramid complex at Wafi city. It opens for lunch and closes at around two or three on Thursdays. As the evening darkens, restaurants slowly transforms into one of the hottest bars in the city, and the DJ completes it starting at ten in the evening onwards.

Choosing to live for the freedom of sin
You're closing your eyes but you're spreading your wings

Shooting from planes at dogs is ok? ... bears? killing Reindeer... the more we learn about her, the less she seems a moderate. Pushing for creationism to be taught in schools, eliminating a woman's right to choose (even if your daughter was raped by the Devil himself, they wouldn't let you take the two cells out of her body to stop the horror - they'd make her carry it to term. It's their 'principle' of it. (calling all Hillary supporters, ahem)
Oh yes, their connections with the deep pockets of big oil, (yes, her husband works for a foreign oil conglomerate, but that's not a conflict of interest now is it?) - it goes on. Her choice as VP appears to have been thrust upon John McCain by the powerful heads of the religious right so I guess John McCain really AIN'T the maverick he says he is. They screamed and raved that they'd have a fight on the floor of the Republican Party Convention if he didn't pick a pro-lifer - so I guess this election will affect women most of all.
You may have your belief about whether to have a baby or not, but if McCain Palin are elected, you can be sure the Supreme Court will make it impossible to make any choice about your own body. They will tell you what you can or can't do - and will force you to live with a rapist's baby inside you, even if it could be stopped within hours of the assault with a morning after pill.
Why? Because John McCain says the moment 2 cells join, it's legally protected and you would be a murderer. Plain and simple. She feels exactly the same way.
So, let all of you women out there think very hard about your choice for President and Vice President this year.
This election is going to affect you more than anyone. McCain thinks medical coverage should cover viagra, but not birth control. That's how much respect he gives women.
Think hard about it. If something should happen to you, even if it is entirely out of your control, you will be forced to live with it - from the day after the assault to 9 months. No exceptions for rape, or even incest. A horrible father can rape his child and her terror will extend for her entire life.
This is not the American way - it's not even close. This is Islamic law - what is next? Honor killings?
How many little girls will be hurt by this? He doesn't care. She doesn't care. They are right wing puppets and the fact that McCain wasn't able to make his OWN choice for VP shows that winning the 'prize' of the Presidency is more important than his beliefs - and proves that even if you change the cover of the Republican Party, the contents of the book remains the same.*
So much for being a maverick.

From Giuliani's intro for Palin:
"I didn't know about this vote "present" when I was mayor of New York City. Sarah Palin didn't have this vote "present" when she was mayor or governor. You don't get "present." It doesn't work in an executive job. For president of the United States, it's not good enough to be present."
Not quite. Palin essentially voted "present" this year when she allowed a bill to become law without her signature. Senate Bill 202 prohibits the state from spending any money to implement provisions of the federally mandated Real ID program. Rather than take a position on the controversial Real ID program in Alaska, the governor voted "present" and let the bill take effect without her signature.
From Palin's speech:
"I fought to bring about the largest private-sector infrastructure project in North American history. And when that deal was struck, we began a nearly $40 billion natural gas pipeline to help lead America to energy independence. That pipeline, when the last section is laid and its valves are open, will lead America one step farther away from dependence on dangerous foreign powers that do not have our interests at heart."
There is no deal to build a natural gas pipeline from Alaska. All the governor obtained for her $500 million in state cash assistance is a promise from TransCanada that it will try to obtain federal licensing and financing to build the pipeline -- nothing more than a pledge to try. At best, the first gas through the pipe is 10 years away.
"Starting in January, in a McCain-Palin administration, we're going to lay more pipelines, and build more nuclear plants, and create jobs with clean coal, and move forward on solar, wind, geothermal, and other alternative sources."
But Palin in 2007 vetoed funding for a wind turbine project to provide clean electricity for the Anchorage area (she later approved funding the next year). And the 10-year-old, $300 million clean coal power plant sits idle at Healy, built with state and federal dollars yet it has never produced a single kilowatt hour. Though she inherited the problem from two previous administrations, Palin has done little to put the idle plant into operation.
"We suspended the state fuel tax and championed reform to end the abuses of earmark spending by Congress. I told the Congress, "Thanks, but no thanks," on that Bridge to Nowhere."
Alaska had the lowest state motor fuel tax in the nation -- 8 cents a gallon -- until it was suspended this week. Speaking of gasoline, West Coast drivers might be interested to know that all of Alaska's oil goes to West Coast refineries, and that when they fill up with gasoline made from Alaska oil, almost $2 of that $4 pump price goes to the Alaska state treasury in taxes and royalties. Thank you, California.
Other thoughts:
The governor in last month's special legislation session successfully pushed for a $1,200 energy rebate to Alaskans. Palin's bill would have effectively protected the $1,200 checks from garnishment for child support, student loans and other debts. The legislature overruled the governor and removed the garnishment protection, proclaiming that someone who owes child support should not receive free money from the government.
